SQUARE ONE was founded by Coach Tim Mulcahy
Mulcahy is an NCAA-certified coach who played high school basketball at Gonzaga and JV Basketball at the University of Virginia. He also coached varsity boys' basketball from 1991-1999; and freshmen boys' basketball from 2008-2009.

Since 2004, Coach Mulcahy has coached boys' and girls' youth basketball at all levels (8U-17U). Over his coaching career, he has had the pleasure of coaching hundreds of youth, dozens of whom are currently playing high school basketball in the greater MD/DC/VA area, and 12 players from the Classes of 2010 and 2011 who went on to play in college.
